Here is what you have to do:

[*]Find an empty space in the town or city where you live and fill it with creative ideas created from LEGO bricks in white and/or transparent. It could be a house, a bridge, a concert hall, a school or even a space-age skate-park!

[*]Shoot a picture and share it with us here on Facebook or Instragram with #FillTheGap. A special panel of judges will select the most interesting creation every month.

The prizes every month are: 1) The novelties in 2015 shipped directly to the winner when released, 2) 21050 LEGO Architecture Studio and 3) the book "LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide".

#FillTheGap Terms and Conditions

 

Online Competitions — General Terms and Conditions Please observe that all participants in any online competition must adhere to the Terms & Conditions below. Entry into any online competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Competitions

 

1.1 All Competitions are administered by specific companies within the LEGO Group.

 

1.2 No purchase or entry fee is required to enter or win a Competition. However, entering a competition may involve browsing on the LEGO social media channels at www.instagram.com/LEGO / www.facebook.com/LEGOArchitecture and you may therefore incur data charges from your Internet services provider.

 

1.3 The LEGO Group reserves the right to cancel or change the Competition and/or amend these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event there is an actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the LEGO Group's reasonable control.

 

1.4 It is a condition of entry that competitors agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Entries

 

2.1 Employees of companies in the LEGO Group, agencies and companies associated with the LEGO Group and the immediate families of such employees are not eligible contestants.

 

2.2 Qualification to enter in the Competition is achieved by uploading an image to the LEGO Architecture Facebook page and Instagram.

 

2.3 By entering a Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The LEGO Group reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants. The LEGO Group reserves the right to remove all submitted entries if these instructions are not followed and/or if a participant is found to have cheated. Further, the LEGO Group reserves the right not to award a prize (and to select an alternative winner) if it becomes aware or has reasonable grounds to believe a winner is not eligible.

 

2.4 By entering, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by is compliant with Facebook's Terms of Service https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms and Instagram's Terms of Use http://instagram.com/legal/terms/.

 

2.5 Photos, stories and entries containing offensive content or content which condones, promotes or encourages any illegal activities of any nature, are not permitted, will not be considered and will be removed immediately.

 

2.6 By submitting an entry each entrant: (a) warrants and represents that he/she owns the rights to the content submitted and that the content submitted is: (i) original to him/her and has been legally obtained and created, (ii) does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party; (b) grants the LEGO Group a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual license to, copy and reproduce the video or entry on the LEGO website at www.LEGO.com, its websites and its social media channels; and © agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the LEGO Group against any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs and liabilities relating to trade mark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights, right of publicity, right of privacy or defamation.

 

2.7 Entries must be received no later than 11:59:59 PM EDT on the dates promoted in section 7.2. No responsibility is accepted for entries which are invalid, incomplete, illegible, lost or delayed in transit, or which fail to be properly submitted. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of receipt.

 

2.8 Competitions must be entered as per any instructions set out for the competition in question on the LEGO websites and channels. Entrants can enter the competition with multiple entries, however, they will only be eligible to win one prize.

 

2.9 The LEGO Group takes no responsibility for lost or misdirected entries.

 

3. Winners and Prizes

 

3.1 Cash or credit alternatives to the prize stated will not be offered. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. The LEGO Group does not accept any responsibility for variations in the value of prizes awarded.

 

3.2 All prizes are subject to availability, the LEGO Group reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value than the prizes advertised.

 

3.3 No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

 

3.4 Winners will be notified directly through the media in which the competition has been entered or otherwise no later than 7 days after termination of any Competition. Winners will be deemed to have received our email within 24 hours of sending. Winners must reply to this email no later than 7 days after the date of the email to claim their prize. If a prize is not claimed in time, a new winner will be selected and the first winner will have forfeited their right to receive a prize.

 

4. Data Protection

 

4.1 Personal data relating to entrants will only be used for the specific Competition and will be deleted afterwards.

 

4.2 By entering any Competition, you explicitly confirm that you consent to your personal data being held by the LEGO Group in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your personal data may be processed by the LEGO Group, the LEGO Group Company in your country and third party suppliers to the LEGO Group, such as our marketing agencies. Such processing will be undertaken for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy accessible at our website http://aboutus.lego.com/en-us/legal-notice/.

 

4.3 Please note that the LEGO Group reserves the right to use the names of winners for publicity purposes.

 

5. Miscellaneous

 

5.1 By participating in a Competition you agree to accept our Terms & Conditions.

 

5.2 The LEGO Group reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Furthermore, the LEGO Group reserves the right to extend, change or terminate any Competition at any time.

 

6. How to contact us

 

6.1 You can contact us in relation to the Competition by writing an e-mail to: LEGOArchitecture@LEGO.com.

 

6.2 Nothing shall exclude the LEGO Group's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law. The LEGO Group does not otherwise accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants of a Prize Draw or as a result of losing or accepting any prize.

 

6.3 The LEGO Group is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or any website, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other persons computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from participation in the Prize Draw.

 

7. Competition Instructions - #FillTheGap

From the January 15, 2015 to the April 12, 2015, participants are asked to upload images of their suggested builds for filling the gap. Entrants must label their entry using the hashtag #FillTheGap to be considered for a prize. The necessary steps to enter the contest is the following:

 

1. Find an empty space in the town or city where you live and fill it with creative ideas created from white and/or transparent LEGO bricks. It could be a house, a bridge, a concert hall, a school or even a space-age skate-park! Find inspiration on the LEGO Architecture Facebook page.

 

2. Shoot a picture and share it with us here on Facebook or on Instragram with #FillTheGap. A special panel of judges from the LEGO Group and Bjarke Ingels Group will select the four most interesting pictures every month.

 

7.1 This competition is only accessible if you upload an image via the LEGO Architecture Facebook page www.facebook.com/LEGOArchitecture and Instagram using the hashtag #FillTheGap.

 

7.2 All competition assignments will be posted January 15, 2015.

 

7.3 The selection of the winners will be made by architects from the architect studio Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Week 7: Winners will be chosen among the entries received between January 15 — February 8. Week 11: Winners will be chosen among the entries received between February 9 — March 8. Week 16: Winners will be chosen among the entries received between March 12 — April 12.

 

7.4 Entrants will participate by uploading images to the LEGO Architecture Facebook page and Instagram using the hashtag #FillTheGap. There is no limitation of the amount of different images an individual person can enter.

 

7.5 The entry images may be selected for use across the LEGO channels.

 

7.6 The prizes for the three winners each round are:

 

First place: One of each LEGO Architecture 2015 model shipped directly to the winner's house immediately after launch (Total value of $129.97 / EUR 129,97).

 

Second Place: One 21050 LEGO Architecture Studio (Total value of $159.99 / EUR 159,99)

 

Third place: One example of "LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide" (Total value of $40.00 / EUR 40,00).

 

7.7 The prizes will be shipped no longer than 3 weeks after the competition ends (ior the release of the products for the first prize). The winner is deemed to have received the prize on the day it was shipped.

 

7.8 The LEGO Group makes no representation that materials on this site relating to this Competition are appropriate or available for use at any other locations and access to them from territories where their content are illegal is strictly prohibited.

 

7.9 The competition is open to all valid holders of Facebook and Instagram accounts worldwide except where it is prohibited by local legislations and laws.
